This is one of those weeks where everything feels quietly intentional. Less noise, more clarity. Less reacting, more designing. And it’s reminded me that the life we end up living is almost always a reflection of what we consistently focus on.

🎯 The Vision / Action Board - Designing the Life Ahead

After recently reading The Source by Tara Swart, I became even more intentional about daily visualisation and its role in neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to rewire itself based on what we repeatedly expose it to.

So I created an action board that reflects not just what I want this year, but what I’m building toward long term. Note - Dr Tara defines it as an action board because you need to actually take actions to achieve things in life, visualisation only is not enough

Here’s how mine is weighted:

  • Business: 45%

  • Finances: 20%

  • Learning: 10%

  • Health: 10%

  • Wants: 5%

  • Home: 5%

  • Love: 5%

That split is intentional. It reflects where my energy needs to go right now - without ignoring the other areas that make life meaningful.

WSGC take:
Vision isn’t wishful thinking. It’s direction. When you’re clear on what matters, decisions get easier and distractions lose their power.

🧠 Your Information Diet Shapes Your Life

As we kick off the year, I’ve become extremely protective of what I consume.

Right now, that means:

  • no Instagram

  • no dating apps

  • no reality TV

  • honestly… no TV at all

In the evenings, I’ve been watching business podcasts and long-form conversations on YouTube instead - and the difference is tangible.

My thinking is clearer. My motivation is steadier. My anxiety is lower.

WSGC take:
Your brain doesn’t know the difference between “entertainment” and “input.” It processes all of it the same way. If you want a focused, confident, forward-looking life, you have to feed your mind accordingly.

📈 WSGC Take on the Financial Markets

The key theme in markets which caught my attention this week:

1) Markets are favouring clarity over hype
Across equities and private markets, capital is flowing toward businesses with strong fundamentals, clear leadership, and repeatable models.

WSGC take:
This is a market that rewards long-term thinkers. Discipline, patience, and quality are winning - financially and professionally.

🤍 Why Dependency Is Actually the Goal

This week I watched Steven Bartlett on Hot Smart Rich and one moment really stayed with me.

Steven spoke openly about his avoidant tendencies in love, and how proposing to his girlfriend was one of the biggest achievements of his life. Not because it was easy - but because it required vulnerability, trust, and interdependence.

It made me reflect on how much we glorify independence - especially for women - while quietly dismissing how powerful healthy dependence actually is.

We’re living in a loneliness epidemic.
Swipe culture teaches us people are replaceable.
That connection is disposable.

But it’s not true.

Real relationships - romantic or otherwise - are built through:

  • vulnerability

  • self-work

  • choosing to grow together, not shutting someone out the moment you get scared

1 + 1 should equal 3.

WSGC take:
Connection isn’t weakness. It’s leverage. The most fulfilled, resilient people aren’t the most independent - they’re the most securely connected.

🌿 Life Lately

Short and sweet this week.

I’m back from vacation, work is very busy, and I’ve been refining my goals for the year. What stands out most is how aligned I feel - in a way I haven’t for a long time.

There’s excitement, clarity, and a calm sense of direction.

Top of mind right now:

  • not burning out

  • remembering that it’s daily improvements most of the time

  • and intense sprints only when necessary

Consistency over chaos.

💼 WSGC Community - What’s Coming

The Wall Street Girls Club WhatsApp community launches this week!

It’s designed to be:

  • intentional

  • supportive

  • high-signal

  • and genuinely useful

If you want to be part of the founding group, reply ‘I’m in’ and keep an eye out - details coming VERY soon.

And if you’ve enjoyed this newsletter, I’d be so grateful if you could share it with one friend you think would love it. It makes a real difference as we grow WSGC this year.
