This week’s newsletter is a little deeper - because growth requires honesty.

If you’ve been feeling stretched, ambitious, exhausted and alive all at once - this newsletter is for you. WSGC was built for women who feel everything deeply and still choose to rise. Let’s get into it.

Theme of the week: psychological wealth and the cost of womanhood

🧠 Learning to Lead a Psychologically Rich Life - And The Hidden Costs of Being a Woman

There is a difference between a successful life and a psychologically rich one.

Success is external: titles, compensation, recognition, promotion, validation.

Psychological richness is internal: self-knowledge, emotional literacy, resilience, curiosity, depth, meaning.

Most women I know are chasing both - but the cost of being a woman in this world is that we have to do twice the work for half the peace.

We:

  • carry emotional labour

  • regulate dynamics

  • anticipate outcomes

  • maintain the household admin

  • manage our bodies and cycles

  • overthink safety

  • perform excellence

  • absorb bias

  • and still show up looking polished and sane

The hidden cost of being a woman is the constant self-regulation that no one sees. And yet, this is what makes our lives psychologically rich: we don’t just live life - we feel life, learn from it, grow with it.

To be a woman is to be stretched and strengthened at the same time.

🌬 Regulating Your Nervous System & Doing the Inner Work

The older I get, the more I realise: your nervous system is your real operating system.

A dysregulated woman will sabotage even the opportunities she prayed for. A regulated woman becomes unstoppable.

This week I’ve focused on: longer sleep, softer mornings when possible, fewer screens and matching my energy to my intention

Inner work isn’t aesthetic. It’s structural. It’s what makes your future life actually feel good, not just look good.

And you cannot build a big, beautiful life from a shaky foundation.

💻 Why I’m Switching From ChatGPT to Claude

This one is funny, but true. I’ve been watching some podcasts on AI - and I think I’m about to make the switch from ChatGPT to Claude.

Not because ChatGPT isn’t helpful - it has been incredible for building WSGC, brainstorming, drafting, structuring and testing my own psychological make-up.

But according to the experts - Claude should be used for levelling up even further. More aligned with how I think. It’s like the difference between speaking to someone brilliant vs someone brilliant and regulated.

For a nervous-system-focused era, tone matters.

We are technology-neutral here, but emotional experience counts.

I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!

🔥 “If You Need Something Done, Give It to a Busy Person.”

This quote has never felt truer than it does this season.

Busy women:

  • prioritise instinctively

  • make decisions faster

  • move with clarity

  • operate with urgency

  • don’t procrastinate

  • have momentum built into their rhythm

When you’re already in motion, adding another task isn’t overwhelming - it’s efficient.

WSGC exists because of this energy. And it’s proof that momentum compounds more powerfully than motivation.

🌿 Life Lately - The Becoming Era

This week felt like a quiet awakening - the kind that arrives slowly and then all at once.

After months of running at full speed - promotion campaigning, restructuring challenges, sixteen-hour days, building WSGC on top of a banking career, navigating heartbreak, recalibrating my nervous system - something finally settled.

I’ve been taking things a little slower this week - on purpose. More sleep. More solitude. More rituals. Less noise. I’ve been choosing my inputs with more care: the books, the podcasts, the people, the intentions. Protecting my energy like an asset class.

Work has been demanding, but I’ve handled it from a steadier place - not survival mode, but leadership mode. I feel myself growing into the woman I used to talk about becoming: the one who leads with clarity, delivers under pressure, sets standards, and doesn’t fall apart when life becomes heavy.

I’ve been having deeply energising calls about WSGC - building out the community, structuring the WhatsApp group, shaping the next phase. And booking Miami felt like a symbolic exhale: a reward for the discipline, the resilience, the emotional rebuilding, the commitment to becoming a better version of myself.

This season feels like a convergence - all the inner work, the heartbreak lessons, the professional grind, the alignment, the boundaries, the clarity - finally compounding.

Your 20s are about proving yourself.
Your 30s are about knowing yourself.
And this week, I felt the shift fully land.

This is the becoming era.
The aligned era.
The woman I was always meant to be era.

And it’s only just beginning.

📊 WSGC Take on the Financial Markets - Bonus Season Begins

This week marks the kick-off of bonus season, and the banks have started announcing their results. Here’s what matters:

• Revenues are mixed. Costs are high.

Most banks are reporting stable to soft revenues but inflated cost bases - especially comp and tech. This compresses bonus pools.

• FX can dramatically impact take-home pay.

A stronger USD or weaker GBP/EUR can mean your bonus on paper is not your bonus in reality. Most people forget that compensation is a currency bet.

• M&A is picking up - but selectively.

The deals getting done are high-quality, high-conviction transactions.
Banks with strong advisory pipelines will reward teams accordingly.

WSGC Take:

This bonus season is less about numbers and more about positioning.
Your reputation, visibility and alignment matter more than any P&L line.

Visibility compounds just like money does.

Quote of the Week:
“The best thing you can do for yourself is actively increase your surface area for luck to hit you you can literally just do things and the more you do serendipity and synchronicity will find you.” Unknown
