Why Wall Street Girls Think Differently?
Some people work hard. Others build something that changes their life.
And the difference between the two is rarely talent - it’s mindset.
Theme of the week: “It Won’t Work - Good. Watch Me Build It Anyway.”

💡 “It Won’t Work.” - It Will - I’m Literally Crazy.
WSGC has always felt like a destiny project. Not a side hobby. Not content. Not something I’m casually experimenting with.
A multi-year mission.
Something that, if built correctly, could genuinely change the trajectory of ambitious women who want to:
earn more
think bigger
live well
and reclaim their power
And like every big project, there have been moments where things haven’t worked.
Algorithmic lows.
Slow growth weeks.
Ideas that didn’t land.
But here’s the thing about women building something real: we don’t interpret setbacks as signals to stop. We interpret them as fuel.
In a world full of ‘overnight success stories’ and ‘how I grew my following to 100K in 6 weeks’, it is easy to forget the realities of building something long-term, impactful and meaningful. Overnight success is NOT the goal, it is highly unrealistic and even less sustainable - in a world that advocates for instant gratification - we must remember that strong, solid foundations take years to grow and nurture.
Because when you believe in something deeply enough, failure becomes data - not discouragement.
🧠 Mentor Lessons - Hard Work Isn’t The Same As Hustle
This week I had my first official mentor session.
And one line stayed with me all week: “Hard work isn’t the same thing as hustle.”
Bankers are excellent at working hard.
We can execute deals for 100 hours a week.
We can build models at 2am.
We can deliver under pressure.
But hustle is something different.
Hustle is:
pushing on paper walls
seeing opportunities others miss
solving problems before they fully exist
creating a niche instead of waiting for one
Hard work executes.
Hustle INVENTS.
And if you want to build something meaningful - in banking, business or life - you need both.
💸 Why Wall Street Girls Think Differently
I posted a TikTok this week about the characteristics of women building ‘f*ck you money.’
There are five characteristics I see repeatedly.
Women who build real wealth tend to be:
Highly competitive and disciplined
Obsessed with self-improvement and emotional growth
Comfortable with BIG but calculated risk
Heart led but take no sh*t when it comes to business
Back themselves to the end (otherwise phrased as ‘delulu’)
It’s a different way of thinking about life.
And I’m curious: which one resonates with you the most?
Reply and tell me.
🌴 Life Lately
This week felt softer.
Dinner at Isabel in Mayfair (a MUST try London girls!), a calmer pace after a busy few weeks, and preparing for my upcoming Miami trip.
Sometimes stepping back slightly gives you the perspective to see how far you’ve come.
If any of you are in Miami while I’m there - MESSAGE me. Always love meeting WSG in real life
📊 WSGC Take - Markets This Week
The biggest macro theme dominating markets right now is the Middle East escalation and the knock-on impact on risk sentiment. Moments like this put life into perspective and I would like to take a moment to send thoughts and prayers to anyone who has been affected
Here’s what matters:
• Oil prices are extremely sensitive to regional instability
• Both equity and debt markets are reacting cautiously but not panicking - technicals remain surprisingly strong but trades have been halted unless issuers have no choice but to go ahead
• Currency markets are showing early signs of defensive positioning
Historically, markets tend to absorb geopolitical shocks faster than expected - but energy prices remain the key variable to watch.
WSGC takeaway: macro events remind us how interconnected markets really are.
💬 WSGC Community Updates
If you want to join the WSGC WhatsApp chat, reply with:
‘YES’
And when I’m back from Miami, I’m starting to plan the first WSGC event in London! eek
If you’d like to attend - reply and let me know.
With love, always 🤍
WSGC was built for women who believe they can create a life bigger than the one they inherited. And if that’s you - you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
Quote of the week:
“My 5 year-plan? Live so fully that my future self never has to wonder what if.”
with love, your favourite Wall Street Girl 📊
